I turned up at 8am Monday with no appointment, seen at once and car examined and problem identified within 30 minutes, spare parts ordered, delivered and fitted and car ready by 3:30pm. Advise given on further work. Amazing! Would not get this service at my home garage

We have always found AJK Thompson’s of Seahouses very professional and very obliging towards their customers, to the extent of going out of their way to keep all their clients happy.. This goes across the board from the person in the office to the mechanic’s and the women who deal with the petrol pumps, they all work as a superb team.

I have used this garage on a number of occasions as I don't live far away from it. They provide excellent service and follow up. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and also they are also just "jolly nice people", that's sometimes a bit of a rarity these days! I would certainly recommend their services.

The garage were able to get a replacement and repair done by 1st June we were able to drive car in the meantime but having to drive back to Dorset needed replacing. From breakdown to picking up car all staff were helpful and very friendly.

Disappointed in the service received. They forgot to ring to say my car was ready for collection! The engineer was aware my back seats were down as I had transported my bike to the garage. He didn't make reference they needed to be up. He said at point of collection he had forgotten to ask. They were not therefore tested! When handed the keys I was informed the car was in the collection point at the front of the garage. when actually it was blocked in the rear maintenance yard next to a lorry being jet washed! The petrol cap was still open !

Service and support was excellent - whilst on holiday we needed a new type - immediate quote, ordered and replaced within 24hrs. Last year we also had an emergency and through green flag, this garage responded as soon as they opened. Again excellent service nice and friendly team with a good sense of humor

Excellent customer service care. We were on holiday and our car broke down. We are in our seventies and we was very upset. AJK Thompson not only fixed the car quickly but also taxied us backwards and forwards to our accommodation. We had a great holiday and returned home safe and sound.

I was on holiday in Banburgh when i realised my tyre was very low on tread. I rang them to see if they could help and they could not have been more helpful. They were kind, courteous and just lovely. If i lived in the area i would definitely use them as my regualar garage. Other garages have a lot to learn from these people

Chris took the time to check the tyre to be replaced and explained the tyre numbers, ordered replacement with fantastic humour and lots of local advice. When the replacement arrived, Chris fitted and took the extra time to check the old tyre and show where it was punctured and also at risk of failing. Stick with local small business that is great value for money and won't try to sell you something you don't need and cheaper then large garage. Would recommend and personally even be willing to pay extra for the quality, service, help and advice received.

Outstanding service. I arrived unannounced, strange noise linked with my brakes. Chris, the mechanic, came and assessed my problem. Took details, ordered parts and kept my vehicle. Three hours later the work had been completed and my car delivered back to my driveway free of charge.

I was on holiday in Seahorses in my campervan. The electric bed (fold out) got tangled in the seat belt casing it to seized and burnt out motor. The staff spent 45 minutes to fix the problem and were kind and considerate, making a temporary repair so I could stay on my holiday. Excellent service.
