Service You Can Rely On. Est. 1975. We're a long established, family business with a respected reputation.
We are a Group Auto Centre and an approved member of the MVRA.
We are also Chesters only garage to have ever achieved the B.S.I. kite mark PAS80. This has since been discontinued by B.S.I. but we continue to monitor and improve our standards, customer care and service.
We now subscribe to the Motor Industry Code of Practice - a Trading Standards-approved service and repair code.
From Timing Belts, Clutches, Weld Repairs through to a new bulb. We service and repair all makes and models of cars and vans. We supply and fit new tyres & exhausts.
We specialise in MOT Testing - Cars and vans up to 3000kg, (petrol & diesel), and also motorcycles - with a free retest, if required, within 14 days.

Local family run garage with great customer service and workmanship

Excellent service. I needed new brake discs and shoes urgently done before a holiday to Scotland and they got me in and efficiently completed within the day. They also spotted a bulge on the inside of a tyre and stopped me having a blowout on the motorway. I will be recommending them to all my family and my friends at the golf club I play at. Well Done Peacock Garages.

The process for booking in the car in advance was good. On the day of the car's service and MOT I dropped off the keys just after 8 a.m. The receptionist seemed knowledgeable as she asked me about the spark plugs needing doing.. I picked up the car just after 2 p.m. There were no issues with the car and I was able to drive away. The invoice was well itemised. Obviously, time will tell, but I have no reason to think that any problems were missed.

The Peacock Garage provide excellent service at a great cost. They have been keeping our vehicles on the road, against the odds, for over 40 years. Today a passerby alerted me to a wobbly exhaust, I drove round to The Peacock, and they had it fixed in less that ten minutes. Fantastic service as ever!
