I was recommended Prompt Autos by a friend after receiving a very high quote from another garage. I emailed them and they got back to me quickly with a fair quote. I was able to get my car booked in for the following week and the work was carried out without any issues. I am really impressed with the friendly service I received, Prompt Autos were great from start to finish.

I have used Prompt Autos for over 30 years for all work on my cars and have found them honest, open and reliable and very competitive on price. I have been able to use their courtesy car when needed and they have stayed open when I have been late to pick my car up which has helped immensely. I highly recommend them to anyone on the Newbury area.

Excellent service would highly recommend. Used previous local garages which seem cheaper but they always find a way to charge you more in the end. Prompt Autos charged what I expected with no extras ! They called as soon as the car was ready. Will defo use again

After a recommendation from a friend I have trusted Prompt to look after me and my VW Transporter since 2015.. . Over the past 8 years they have performed a lot of work on the van to a very high standard including new gearbox, clutch, radiator, springs, brakes, AC condenser as well as regular services and MOTs.. . The team are always helpful, friendly and do what they say. They are fast and efficient, always keeping me appraised of what is going on with the work. Their complete transparency gives me full confidence in any work that needs to be done, why it needs to be done and how much it will cost.. . They've managed to source a new gearbox for me at a competitive rate (when we were expecting reconditioned and the team even drove out to my home address (12 miles each way) when a medical emergency meant I couldn't drop my van in to them.. . I will continue to use Prompt Autos for my maintenance needs and recommend them to friends and family.
