About Us...
Shentons Garage is a family run local business based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. We have been providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to our customers in Ashbourne and surrounding areas for over 35 years. Much of our work comes from repeat customers, some of who travel over 20 miles to take advantage of our high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service. We are proud members of the Good Garage Scheme and the Autocare Network.
Our highly skilled team have many years experience servicing and repairing All types of vehicles, including cars, vans, motorcycles, lorries, horseboxes and trailers. Our MOT testing facility can test all vehicles up to 3500kg including motorcycles. I have used Shentons for a few years now and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Really pleased with the quality of the work done (timing & auxiliary belt replacement as part of scheduled service), the overall customer experience, and the turn-around time. Will definitely be using Shenton's again and would recommend to friends.

We have used Shentons for 16 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are courteous, informative, extremely helpful and pleasant, prices very reasonable. They always go that extra mile at short term notice. Nothing is to much trouble.

Broken spring, pregnant with hospital appt to attend. . Shentons fixed the trouble within a few hours for me. Really appreciate there help.

Excellent service, originally booked in to have cambelt changed, but prior to the appointment my car developed another fault, which they fixed at the same. Very good customer service as kept me informed throughout the process and even completed the work before the time they originally quoted. Would certainly recommend this garage.

They've always been very happy and friendly to me as a customer. Been taking my motorcycles there since 2019.. . With my autism, any slight change or if something just "doesn't feel right" I'm quick to think there's something wrong and it must be fixed ASAP! When in reality there's nothing wrong. They have often reassured me when this happens and gone out of their way to show me what they're telling me. . . They are a trustworthy bunch of people and very patient.

Really lovely lady who assisted, Nicky I believe her name was. I rang for an MOT as my normal garage cancelled due to a Ramp Fault. Nicky got me in and was lovely when I dropped the car off, equally called me on time as planned to tell me the MOT was completed.
