Southern Motor Developments (SMD) is an up and coming business established in June 2009 and is owned and managed by Brent Crooks.

SMD provides a very high standard of general servicing for all types of vehicles regardless of size or performance, including MOTs, servicing, welding, auto electronic diagnostics, car modification, general repair and maintenance.
Brent and his highly skilled team have extensive knowledge within the motor trade, covering many specialist areas, between them they have had experience in busy well known respected garages using some of the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment, working with prestige vehicles, carrying out complete car restorations and building some seriously highly tuned cars such as a customer’s road and track prepared 1500bhp Nissan Skyline. With this experience SMD can offer you anything from a simple repair and servicing, to complete custom race car build.
SMD offer many customising and tuning products such as alloy wheels, induction kits, performance exhaust systems, body kits, suspension kits, performance engine parts, super chips, engine management systems, intercoolers, roll cages, fuel systems, turbo timers, boost controllers etc. If you want it we can get it and fit it.
SMD can provide trackside support for race meets/track days to ensure your car performs to its highest possible standard.
SMD are always keen to undertake or just help with one off projects, kit cars or anything a bit out of the ordinary that most garages do not want to get involved with. No job is too small or too large.
